      Equity   Inclusion                                               Statement   of Community   Task Force Brought together trustees, faculty, and staff  to review and update our Statement of  Community to more accurately reflect   current thinking.  --- Examined community-building at   Norwood and our understanding of  how diversity, equity and inclusion is  fundamental to this effort.  --- Prepared a new draft statement  in the spring of 2019.




























                                                 Diversity Hiring   Workshop Hosted by Norwood on December 6, 2018,  on behalf of the Eastern Educational  Resource Collaborative, a resource for  schools, colleges, families, and agencies for  creating equitable, anti-bias, multicultural   environments.  --- Featured diversity consultant and clinical  social worker Jen Cort, who works with  schools to live out their missions regarding   diversity and inclusion.  --- Provided independent school leaders with   tools to examine and
