Word of Billy Vargas’s outstanding work in the area of diversity and inclusion has
spread. Recently, the National Association of Independent Schools named Billy
to the faculty of the 2019 Diversity Leadership Institute, an intensive five-day
residential program that provides educators with tools to lead and manage the
shifting intercultural changes in schools. As a DLI faculty member, Billy will help
with curriculum planning and work with attendees to explore best practices,
develop new initiatives, and enhance ongoing programs. Congratulations, Billy!
